Questions
Is the photo uploaded?
No. The photo is made smaller inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server – important for ID photos and certificates.
What if it cannot reach 100 KB?
The tool first lowers the quality, then the pixel size. If a very large photo still cannot reach the size, it tells you and gives the smallest result. Choose "Small 800" under Resize and try again.
Does it change the photo size in pixels too?
Only if needed to reach the KB size, or if you choose a size under Resize. If your form also asks for exact pixels (for example 200 × 230), check the result and use a photo editor to crop it to that shape first.
